About the practice
Thirty years of listening
to the body.

I’m Sam Mujkic, and I practice Therapeutic Thai Massage. Thai bodywork is the foundation of how I work, but the way I practice it didn’t come from one school. It came from my three decades of study across the world’s great healing traditions. Thai massage and Osteo Thai from Thailand. Shiatsu from Japan. Reflexology rooted in Chinese medicine. Ayurvedic yoga from India. PNF and modern physical therapy from the West.
Over time, these practices stopped being separate techniques for me and became one language: a way of reading what a body is holding, where it is stuck, and what it needs to come back into balance. That is what you get on the table, whatever brought you in.
To me, every session is spiritual as much as physical. The body isn’t a machine to be fixed. It is a whole to be brought back into harmony.
What the body holds
Pain is rarely only physical.
The body remembers what it has been through, and it holds on. Old injuries, grief, fear and long stretches of stress settle into muscle and fascia and stay there well after the moment has passed, quietly shaping how you stand, breathe and move. A great deal of my work is helping the body let go of what it has been carrying. When that held tension finally releases, people often find that something more than stiffness leaves with it.

Working with fighters and athletes long before the practice had a name.
Thai Massage
Thailand
The foundation of my practice. Rhythmic compression along the body’s lines with assisted stretching that opens joints and takes muscle through a range you cannot reach alone.
Osteo Thai
Thailand
Fascia-release osteopathy blended with Thai yoga, freeing connective tissue and joints.
Shiatsu
Japan
Finger-pressure therapy along the body’s meridians, releasing blockages and restoring energy flow.
Reflexology
China
Working reflex points that connect to and heal the whole body, with roots in Chinese medicine.
Ayurvedic Yoga
India
India’s ancient science of balance, applied through movement and breath.
PNF
The West
Clinically proven stretching that rebuilds strength and range of motion.
The philosophy
“East and West are not two answers. They are two halves of one. When they meet in the body, harmony follows.”Sam Mujkic
